Vari-Lite Inc. has entered into a partnership with LDDE Vertriebs GmbH, granting the Vienna-based dealer rights to the sale of VARI*LITE products in Austria. Through the distribution agreement, Austrian customers will have direct local access to first-class sales, service and support of VARI*LITE products.
"The Austrian market is established and holds good potential for Vari-Lite," said Vari-Lite Vice President of Sales and Marketing Bob Schacherl. "We are excited about the opportunities that the partnership with LDDE presents. LDDE is well-respected within the Austrian lighting industry for its quality and customer service, which is what made them an attractive addition to our respected dealer network."
LDDE specializes in the stage, studio and architectural lighting industries. The company's clients include some of the most prestigious theaters, museums and universities in the region. In addition, LDDE has a strong foothold within the Austrian television industry, and some of the most discerning lighting directors choose LDDE to fulfill their lighting needs.
"We are thrilled to finally be able to offer VARI*LITE automated lighting fixtures to our customers," said LDDE sales manager Markus Komertzky. "The Vari-Lite name means the best in automated lighting. LDDE is committed to delivering high quality products and services to the lighting professionals we work with on a daily basis."
